Little ant,
tiny worker, clean up
in the garden, or park, or forest,
but please do not clean up
in our house.
As summer is suddenly rapidly arriving, life in the garden is exploding. Sure, the trees and flowers all have come back to life in those early spring days with elevated temperatures, but now, after a May cold snap, the ants are showing their faces, too. Also inside the house, which is not something we are particularly fond of. So, we are trying to get them out.
Tips are welcome.
The ants in the picture were not in a house. They were in the garden of a holiday home we rented in Tuscany a few years ago. They found a bit of bell pepper, which they are carrying home.

When I see a tritriplicata written by another poet, it always makes me very happy. And when they are great like this one, that makes it even better. Thank you A. Christine Meyers for your lovely poetry and writing tritriplicata poems. Enjoy her Mockingbird on a Stormy Afternoon.
