Look up, and
reach for the stars. You can
be anything you could wish to be.
Look down, too, and find love
at your feet.

This poem was written to write on the street. And I did that. So, passers-by would literally find love at their feet. The love I shared through my words. Now, the picture you see above shows another way to read “find love at your feet”. This is what my poetry is about. Depending on when you read the poems, how you read them and who you are, you will find a meaning in them that is relevant to you. Or not. It’s a team effort. It’s not just me telling you how it is, it’s me sharing what I ‘see’ for you to make something of it. Or not.

Now, tell me, what do you think of when you read the poem above?

The Tunes of November

Enjoying the poetry, or the beautiful autumn days, or cuddling up on the couch now the days are shortening? Here’s ninety minutes of music to enjoy while you do all that:

Poetry Elsewhere

More and more, our kids can be found in the kitchen. Making something they saw on YouTube, or just helping out. It’s loads of fun, and I love it. This poem by my friend Dennett (who was also once a guest in my podcast) makes me want to cook with my two chefs again: A Touch of Dad by Dennett.

Our friend ACM has published a lovely November poem, Song of Autumn’s End, in her newsletter recently. What’s more, it was to announce her new book! Full of poetry. If you have a kindle, go buy that, too!
