Shortened days,
contemplating endings,
dreaming of hopeful new beginnings.
The circles completed -
December.
December. The month that sees days shortening, at least in the Northern Hemisphere, until the winter solstice. The best time of the year to look back at what’s coming to an end, and dream of all the things that will begin (again).
What are you dreaming of?

Power another poem by offering me a cup of coffee:
Beautiful poem, Arjan! The end of this December scares me. Our entire semester (MBA) was online, and it ends with exams by Dec. 30th. After that it's all uncertainty. Will our college resume online, or do we have to go back? After this starts our job hunting! Phew! And then there is the vaccine uncertainty!
The suspense is terrible, yet thrilling in way!
So, all in all 2020 is gonna come to an end! Let's try and leave the bad behind!
Quoting Tennyson, "Hope smiles from the threshold of the year to come, whispering, "It will be happier."
A one-worded message from this year would be, "Hope!"
So yeah, I dream of a happier, "peacefuller", and hope-filled life.
Thank you.
Love,
Srinath
