Don't forget
to take a break, to give
yourself a break. Sit on that park bench
and let your mind wander.
Be inspired.
We run, we jump, we dance and we get caught up in the maelstrom of life. And sometimes, even though we have the best intentions, that maelstrom pulls us down to the bottom. It’s easy to get caught up in all that. Whether it’s your daily job, the daily news, the struggle to reach the end of the month. What you need, is to take a bit of distance. Take a break. Look at it all from a park bench in the sun. A path forward will be revealed to you.
What’s your break-taking habit?

Poetics in life
Have you ever felt even a little bit annoyed with the meal delivery guys coming in and out of restaurants while you wait to be seated or for your order? I admit that I have. It’s easy to be angry with others. Until you hear their stories, get to know them, understand how hard they work to make their life, and the lives of their families, just a little bit better. This short video, in French, is a great start. It made me realize I had dehumanised them. Something I need to be better at. Don’t dehumanise The Other. Please.

, explores the role of the artist after the capturing is done. Enjoy All the poems you want to write:Sasha Stiles creates beautiful poetry, together with the AI she trained herself. Her husband then helps to produce an amazing soundtrack, so you can get to experience the poem with maximum effect. Sasha’s latest piece, REPETAE: Again, Again is now being auctioned in the Gucci Art Space. Have a look, and make a bid if you can.
Travel is also a great way to get a different perspective. It’s a very literal way of taking a bit of distance. And taking distance can really help you to solve the problem right in front of you. Sometimes you just can’t see the forest for the trees. If you can’t leave for some travel, just go to a train station. To me, these are places that radiate travel. A little bit like this poem, when the train whistle blows by
