The earth's crust
pushed up in majestic
peaks; and as I stand on top of one,
I look up in awe to
see some more.
In the mountains, you get fresh air, stunning views, and exciting trails to hike. Especially above the tree line, that line above which trees find the environment too harsh to grow, there’s a spectacular sense of being in a very challenging environment. And in that environment, there is so much beauty and inspiration waiting for you. Like the rocks in the image above. It seems like just a piece of rock, but you can see that it’s made of layers. And you see these layers positioned at an angle. From that realisation, it’s not hard to imagine how this was once a piece of flat-lying earth crust, being pushed up by tectonic movement to form these majestic mountains and this wonderful landscape.
From the detail of slanted rock layers, it’s not an extremely big jump to think about how our planet was shaped into the way it was, and all the beauty you can find in it. No matter what the story is that you imagine or believe, just be sure to enjoy all this beauty.
