The short-line American sonnet, interesting. Works almost like a ballad.

You've been inspiring me as well to try the Triplicata. Here's one I've been working on:

She wore blue.

She traced the wooden walk

-way around the ancient rust-red swamp.

Settled her top and took

A selfie.

Always great to see your newsletter come in.

Thank you, James. Great to see you have a go at the tritriplicata. Love this one. It's very much an image. Precisely what I intended with it. It holds a lot. You did a great job.

I really appreciate the time you take for reading and leaving a message. Thanks!

Always! You do such great work of bringing poetry to others, it behooves us to take the same amount of time enjoying it.

I didn’t spell it right (again)! Maybe that’s the first step to mastery.

Same page maybe, but your triolet beats my sonnet. Loved it!

I disagree. I loved your sonnet! I thought at first that it was one that you brought over from a famous poet that I was unaware of :-)

Hello Arjan, I enjoyed your sonnet + show/interview with Raffaella and your experimental sound poem Underground Fernwehk ! The visual art by Doodleslice is up my alley :/ as you will see. I'm beginning to learn many possibilities of Substack through your variety of posts, thank you, Kristen

Hi Kristen, very happy to read you enjoyed it, and especially that you liked the podcast. It's a lot of fun to do! Great that you like the art by David. He's a warm-hearted artist. Are you also exploring the NFT world?

Hi Arjan, Not yet interested:) I make visual art/poems too which drew me to David's piece.
