Angry clouds

Your weekly dose of fresh poetry #108

Oh these clouds,
they look angry today.
Our planet may not be feeling well.
I think Mother Earth needs
our kindness.

Don’t you just love looking up at the clouds and imagining all the wonderful things you can see in them? I do. Recently, I saw a face. A bit of a feline face. It looked a bit angry. There’s a lot of anger going around these days, it seems if you read the news. Polarisation and conspiracy theories are just two phenomena that recently are causing us to stop liking and trusting each other. It’s painful. And a source of more anger. Sometimes it feels like we’re spiralling. How can we stop that? By being kind. Give someone a hug. Listen. Do something nice.

If it comes to Mother Earth, there’s a lot you can do, too. Plant a tree, clean up some litter, waste less water and energy.

But above all: be kind. Please.
