Not sure if I really elaborated on it. I really like Substack and have found many wonderful poets here, including yourself. However, I would love to turn this into something that generates a bit of income. Even though I tried to do so on Substack for over 4 years, I have not managed to achieve that. I think that somehow my work, and maybe my approach, simply does not match the preferences of the Substack paying audience.
I am moving to Paragraph, where integration with what I refer to as Web3, the crypto world, is seamless. And it happens to be the case that in that part of the internet, I have found a match with an audience that is willing to pay for my content. So, I prefer to focus my energy there. I really was hoping I could make it happen here, also to be able to have guest poets that I could actually pay for their contribution. That is also why I waited with getting you on board. I wanted to pay you. I just never could make that happen on Substack, and I think I can make it happen in the wonderful world of Web3. So, there I go ;)
Poetry sure is the currency for exchanging ideas. Looking forward to the new platform!

Thank you for the call out, Arjan. I will keep my eyes open for your new spot!
Did I miss the reason why you’re moving?
