It is a lot of fun. I like the restriction of the syllables. It's also very good practice. It trains you to choose your words carefully.
Another thing I like, and what I wanted even more for the form I created, is haiku can be great reflections on how you perceive the world. That can open the eyes of the readers to another perspective.
Go and write some! If you have no place to publish them, I'm happy to give you some space here :)
I haven't written haiku in a long time. There was a phase in 2018 when I wrote one daily. It was quite enjoyable. I think I should get back to it! 😀
