Fantastic. Went to high school in St. Cloud and my girlfriend lived in Ville D'Avray. My wife and I return to France but spend almost all of it in the south.

I worked in St Cloud the first time we lived here in the area. Nice. Now we live close to St Germain en Laye. Did you go to a French school, or to that American school they have in St Cloud. We looked at that one for our kids. Looked really nice.

So funny to have that connection. Even though they were different times, we have similar images in our memories.

I went to the American School. It was my third high school in three countries. I arrived as a senior and didn't speak a word of French but after two years, fairly fluent. First year of college at the American College. Wonderful years for me, for all of us.

That is a sweet little park. I used to use it as a turnaround point in a lunch time run. I was a kid working summers at the US embassy for '76-'78, about a three mile run. Are you living there now?

It is! If you take the outer ring of the park, it's a 1km round. I lived very close to there (it was sort of our backyard) in 2008-2010. After just over a decade we returned to France, and now live just West of Paris, so I can go there now and then.
